Kauri Foundation is a unique organization.  We don’t just build houses; anybody can do that.  Kauri Foundation is rebuilding communities, transforming lives, and creating homes.  When we arrive at a post-disaster or homeless community, the first thing we do is look around. Because our structures can be scaled and adapted to fit the needs of individual families, communities, and cultures, we choose to partner with local leaders and community members to identify what families most value in their homes. For example, a home for a family in London, England, will look much different than a family’s home in rural Mozambique.

This means that all construction crews, electricians, plumbers, interior/exterior designers, ect. are community members from start to finish.
