Creating A Living Wall

An integral part of our self-contained housing systems is the option for vertical gardening. Vertical gardening is – as you’d expect – a garden that grows upwards as opposed to horizontally. This method of gardening doesn’t require soil and can provide maximum yield with a minute space. They not only create a platform for self-sufficient food production, but can also create new ecological, social, and economic hubs. Plus, vertical gardens can produce more than 10 TIMES more produce per metre squared compared to traditional, horizontal gardening.

Incorporating a living wall into our housing systems increases the home’s energy efficiencies. They mitigate the impact of pollutants and improve the overall air quality surrounding the home for the inhabitants. Vertical gardens increase biodiversity in urban areas, and help with minimizing noise pollution, further increasing the sense of peace and safety in our homes.

We don’t just plan to give people shelter in post-disaster zones. We aim to give them a green, living housing system where they can grow and flourish - just like their vertical garden!

Join us in spreading life around the globe!
