When Explosive Weapons Are Used…

It is not hard to imagine the lasting harm done to individuals and communities when explosive weapons are used during war. One decision to use explosive weapons destroys "schools, hospitals, homes, critical infrastructure, and lives are destroyed" (United Nations OCHA, 2022). Regardless of the reasons for war, people's fundamental rights must always be honored. These rights are violated when explosive weapons are used, and innocent people's health, safety, and lives are put at risk.

Kauri Foundation seeks to provide a safe environment for survivors of disaster and war as efficiently as possible. Kauri Foundation homes offer the opportunity to rebuild quickly without sacrificing quality. Our goal is to provide the resources and support to rebuild entire communities - not just individual homes. In fact, Kauri Foundation’s home systems can be adapted and manufactured to suit the needs of school buildings, health care facilities, local government offices, and community centers.

While Kauri Foundation cannot stop the use of explosive weapons, we can all make choices toward a brighter future for the next generation by choosing paths that will lead to peace, not violence. Making these types of choices is what the Kauri Foundation does. Our homes aim to provide safe, secure, and dignified housing to all. Join us in spreading this resiliency across Ukraine, Poland, and other war-torn parts of the globe! Together, we can bring land to life!
