Peace In Knowing

According to PTSD-UK, natural disaster survivors are 30-40% more likely to develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. For many of them, the trauma of losing their homes, possessions, and even their loved ones never disappears. Imagine the exhaustion of worrying that every time there was a storm or high winds you might lose your home again. Without the comfort that your home can withstand disaster conditions, this fear may never go away, creating additional trauma and challenge to everyday functioning. As an alternative, imagine the healing and comfort of knowing your home is able to protect you and you can move on to create a new future.

Kauri Foundation designed a home meant to bring peace of mind to those living in it. These homes are designed to be the ultimate experience in resilient and safe housing and communities. They will withstand storms, fires, and hurricane-force winds, and are resistant to flood-related mold and bacteria. Every family deserves to be able to love their home, knowing that if a disaster comes, their home will love them back. Kauri Foundation desires to bring confidence to disaster survivors because nobody should ever question whether or not their home will keep them safe.
